Jasprit Bumrah is fighting with a back injury for over two years now. The Indian pacer was recently sent to a special facility by BCCI to get operated. He underwent succesful surgery and is expected to make a return by Asia Cup. There are good things being said about his return and all the Indian fans are hoping that Bumrah somehow makes it in time for the World Cup. However, Bumrah’s injury was quite handful and it could pose problems at any time. India will definitely try to have a backup ready for Bumrah in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023.

3 Players Who Can Replace Jasprit Bumrah in ICC ODI World Cup 2023

    1- Arshdeep Singh

The left arm pacer from Punjab was India’s best bowler in the T20 World Cup 2022. He did not let Bumrah’s presence being felt too much with his inspiring spells. Arshdeep fell off the radar after the IPL but he definitely has the ability to make a resounding comeback. Also, the Indian Cricket Team needs a left arm pacer in their ranks. Arshdeep can be the perfect replacement for Bumrah in ICC ODI World Cup 2023.

    2- Umran Malik

Jasprit Bumrah is the X factor of Indian bowling line-up with his uncanny action and pin-point yorkers. Umran Malik can also prove to be a X factor for India with his express pace. The pacer from Jammu can constantly hit the 145 km/ph mark and that makes him a great asset for the team.

    3- Jaydev Unadkat

Jaydev Unadkat has been immensely successful in the domestic cricket. However, he has failed to find the success in international format. Jaydev Unadkat deserves a few chances in the ODI set up to prove his calibre. He can also bat a bit and provide assistance to the Indian batting line-up.
