Considering that the cricketing boards of both nations are at loggerheads over the hosting rights of the Asia Cup 2023, it remains to be seen if they collide at the ACC event prior to the World Cup in India. The MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai could potentially be one of the host venues for the crucial clash between the rivals. Numerous reports have suggested that Pakistan is open to playing in Chennai, which is a likely venue for the forthcoming World Cup. With an upgrade in the stands at the venue in Chennai, the BCCI could add Chepauk in the potentials list to host the crucial affair.

The iconic Eden Gardens is arguably one of the most historic grounds in India and will undoubtedly get matches to host.
