Chasing 261 in a must win game against Australia, India was 143/3 in 28.3 overs when Yuvraj Singh arrived on the crease. He was in excruciating pain due to the cancer but did not gave his wicket away. Gambhir and Dhoni departed quickly from the other end but Yuvi continued his assault on the Aussie bowling up. Ultimately, India won the match and Yuvraj Singh was named player of the match for his all-round performance.

2- 113 off 123 vs West Indies, ICC ODI World Cup 2011

Yuvraj Singh was a force to reckon with in the 2011 World Cup. He single-handedly won India the league stage match against West Indies. Yuvi smashed 19 fours and 2 sixes in his innings of 113 runs. India managed to score 268 runs. Yuvraj Singh also picked two wickets to help India win by a huge margin of 80 runs. He was named player of the match for his remarkable performance.

Yuvraj Singh was the player of the tournament in 2011 World Cup and it was rightful for him to be at end when India lifted the trophy. Mostly, remembered for Dhoni’s unbeaten 91 and Gambhir’s fighting 97, the 2011 World Cup Final match saw significant contributions from Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli.
