Sachin Tendulkar played 200 Tests and 463 ODIs in his international career, which is also a world record. Sachin is the only batsman in the world to play 200 matches in the longest format of cricket. Sachin scored 15,921 runs in his Test career. At the same time, he scored 18,426 runs in ODIs. No batsman is even close to this record of Sachin in Tests and ODIs.

2. Century of centuries

Sachin Tendulkar is the only batsman to score a century of centuries in international cricket. It does not seem possible for any batsman in the world to break this record of Sachin. Sachin has scored a total of 51 centuries in Test cricket and 49 centuries in ODI format. However, his record of 49 centuries in ODIs is broken by Virat Kohli, during 2023 ICC ODI World Cup.

Sachin Tendulkar played a total of 200 Test matches in his career and scored 51 centuries and 68 fifties during this period. Sachin holds the record for hitting the most boundaries in Test cricket. The Master Blaster has hit the ball across the boundary line 2,127 times while playing in the white jersey, which includes 2058 fours and 69 towering sixes.

5. Record of playing the most World Cups

Sachin Tendulkar also holds the record for playing the most World Cups. Sachin played a total of six World Cups in his international career and in the last World Cup, he was also successful in making Team India the champion. Sachin played his first World Cup in the year 1992. After this, he was a part of the 1996, 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2011 World Cup teams.
