In the 44 matches he played in the IPL, Sreesanth managed to pick up only 40 wickets at an average near 30. After involving in match fixing S Sreesanth never got a chance to play IPL.
3. Joginder Sharma
Joginder Sharma, a right-arm medium-fast bowler, represented Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. Despite his success in domestic cricket, Sharma struggled to make an impact in the IPL. In the 250 balls he played in the IPL, Joginder managed to pick up only 12 wickets at an average of 35.82. We all remember Joginder Sharma for the famous last over against Misbah-ul-Haq which led to T20 World Cup 2007 triumph. But Joginder Sharma was one of the worst players in Indian Premier League.
4. Yuvraj Singh
Yuvraj Singh, a hard-hitting stylist batter and India’s one of the best all-rounder represented teams such as Kings XI Punjab, Delhi Daredevils, Mumbai Indians, Pune Warriors, Punjab, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL. Despite having the ability to clear the ropes, Yuvraj Singh struggled to perform consistently in the IPL. In the 132 matches he played in the IPL, Singh scored only 2750 runs at an average of 24.77. Yuvraj with the ball took 36 wickets with an average of 29.91 and an economy of 7.43. He was one of the best finishers for India cricket but failed to deliver in IPL
5. Carlos Brathwaite
Carlos Brathwaite, an explosive batsman, and a decent bowler represented teams such as Delhi Daredevils, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL. Despite being a regular member and former captain of the West Indies cricket team, Carlos Braithwaite was one of the worst players in the IPL. In the 16 matches he played in the IPL, he scored only 181 runs at an average of 13.29. With the ball in hand, he picked up 13 wickets in 42 overs and conceded over 400 runs at an average close to 30.
6. Aaron Finch
Aaron Finch, who was the former captain of the Australian cricket team and the Melbourne Renegades, is considered one of the finest batsmen in the world. Once he was number 1 T20 batter for 2 years. However, he has always struggled in the IPL and never performed consistently. In 90 matches, Finch scored only 2091 runs at an average of 25.70. Finch has played for the most number of teams in IPL history
7. Darren Sammy
Darren Sammy, a right-arm medium-fast bowler, represented teams such as Kings XI Punjab, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL. Despite having a mixed international career, Darren struggled to perform in the IPL. In the 22 matches he played in the IPL, Sammy managed to pick up only 11 wickets at an average of 31.81 giving 350 runs.
