Recently, he became the second player after Kraigg Brathwaite to score a century for West Indies while opening the batting since 2013 in international cricket.     1- Tagenarine Chanderpaul is the son of famous West Indian cricketer Shivnarine Chanderpaul. He is 26 years old, born on 31st May 1996 in Georgetown, Guyana.

    2- Tagenarine Chanderpaul made his debut for the West Indies cricket team in November 2022. He played for Guyana in first-class cricket and made his debut for them in 2013. His father was also a player of Guyana in first-class cricket.

    3- He made his debut for the U-19 West Indies cricket team when he was only 18 years old in 2015. In the U-19 World Cup, Tagenarine Chanderpaul scored a century and two half-centuries and ended up scoring 263 runs in just 6 games.

    4- In 2022, he was called up for the Test series against Australia, in which he displayed great resilience against the Australian bowling line-up, which was relentless with their pace bowling.
