Shubman Gill became only the fourth batter in the history of Indian Premier League to score consecutive centuries when he smashed an unbeaten 104* off just 52 balls while chasing 198 against the Royal Challengers Bangalore at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

In a must win game for RCB, Virat Kohli became the third batter in IPL history to score two consecutive centuries. He played a masterful knock of 101* off 61 balls but that was not enough for RCB to win the game. Gill overshadowed Kohli’s century with a brilliant chasing knock.

After the match, Shubman Gill celebrated his century by posting a pic from the match on Instagram. Gill’s sister Shahneel appreciated her brother’s knock by commenting ‘My babbyy.’ However, it seems that few of upset RCB fans were not happy with this and started hurling abuses at Shahneel Gill in the comments.
