Ibrahim Zadran’s cricketing journey has been marked by various achievements and milestones:
- He made his List A debut for Mis Ainak Region in the 2017 Ghazi Amanullah Khan Regional One Day Tournament on August 11, 2017.
- In the same year, he had his first taste of Twenty20 cricket, representing Mis Ainak Knights in the 2017 Shpageeza Cricket League on September 12, 2017.
- In September 2018, he was part of Nangarhar’s squad in the inaugural edition of the Afghanistan Premier League tournament.
- In 2021, Ibrahim showcased his talent while playing for Boyne Hill in Berkshire, serving as an opener and accumulating 479 runs in 15 matches.
- He made his mark on the international stage by representing Afghanistan in the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup, emerging as the leading run-scorer for his team with 186 runs.
- In December 2018, he continued to represent Afghanistan, this time in the under-23 team for the 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup.
- His Test cricket debut came in August 2019 when he was named in Afghanistan’s Test squad for their one-off match against Bangladesh, which took place on September 5, 2019.

- Ibrahim Zadran’s contributions extended to the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup, where he emerged as the leading run-scorer for Afghanistan with 240 runs in five matches.
- Notably, in June 2022, he scored his first ODI century with an unbeaten 120 runs against Zimbabwe. He followed this up with a second century (106) against Sri Lanka in November 2022, winning the player of the match award. In the same series, he broke the record for the highest score by a player from his country in the format, amassing 162 runs in the third match. He ended the series with 278 runs at an average of 92.66 and secured the player of the series award.
