Virat Kohli was removed from the T20I captaincy of the Indian Cricket Team a while ago. He even let go of his captaincy in white ball cricket and IPL after that. However, something exciting happened in the IND vs AFG 3rd T20I as Virat Kohli took the charge in the field. He filled in as the captain instead of Rohit Sharma.
Kohli was out for a first ball duck in the match and despite that India went to score 212-4 in the 20 overs. Rohit Sharma became the first batter in world cricket to make 5 T20I centuries. He did some unbelievable hitting and ensured that India reached a great total.

Rinku Singh also played an exceptional knock and blasted his way to an unbeaten half century. The last four balls that he faced went for sixes. Both Sharma and Rinku were extremely tired after bashing the Afghani bowlers all around the park.
Virat Kohli simply captained as Rohit Sharma was feeling a bit exhausted after playing a long knock that involved some heavy hitting. It is still quite interesting as Sanju Samson could have been also asked to captain if Virat Kohli denied to take the job. However, the captain in Kohli came out and led the team against Afghanistan.
