Bangladesh senior men’s team’s two-Test series against Pakistan starting August 21 in Rawalpindi is under doubt as the current civil unrest in Bangladesh forced former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to resign and leave the country.

Bangladesh’s senior team is scheduled to play two Tests in Rawalpindi (August 21-25) and Karachi (August 30-September 3) but in the current scenario, it may be difficult for the national team to travel. Even the Bangladesh ‘A’ team’s tour of Pakistan is in doubt. Former Test captain Mominul Haque was scheduled to play for Bangladesh ‘A’ in the series against Pakistan ‘A’.
