    India’s favourite cricket festival for internet professionals, iFest 2023 is all set to start from 9th October 2023. This year the tournament is getting bigger as a total of eight teams will go against each other to win the coveted iFest 2023 trophy and prize money. Team Affiliates are the defending champions and is definitely the team to beat. The tournament is going to be an exciting event with loads of ifs and buts moments that will keep the players and supporters nervy. Below is everything you need to know about the biggest internet professional community cricket tournament, iFest 2023 in detail.

    iFest 2023 Rules

    The iFest 2023 event has established a set of rules for participating teams. If any team violates these rules, they will receive an initial warning. If the same team repeats the violation, they will face disqualification, as decided by the consensus of the Team Owners. However, Team Owners have the collective liberty to waive off the first warning clause if they choose to do so.

    Each team is required to have a roster of 15 players, consisting of 11 players whose names must be provided one week before the tournament, and an additional 4 players. Additionally, each team is required to submit an entry fee of INR 40,000 per team, which includes refreshments. This entry fee, along with the list of at least 11 players, must be submitted by October 1st.

    iFest 2023 Teams and Groups

    A total of 8 teams are divided into two groups namely A and B in which each group harbours 4 teams. Each team will at least get to play a total of 3 matches in the tournament. Below are both the groups and the teams in them.

    Group – A 

    • Team Entrepreneur
    • Team Affiliates
    • Team Startups
    • Team Rankers

    Group – B

    • Team Bloggers
    • Team Programmtic
    • Team Domainers
    • Team Marketers

    iFest 2023 Schedule

    The tournament will begin on 9th October 2023 and will conclude with the final on 12th October 2023. Just like, the iFest 2022, the tournament remains four days long. However, this year the final is going to be a night game which will start at 8 PM and end at 11:30 PM.

    1st Day, 9th October Schedule:

    • Match 1: Team Rankers vs Team Affiliates
    • Match 2: Team Bloggers vs Team Marketers
    • Match 3: Team Entrepreneur vs Team Startups
    • Match 4: Team Programmtic vs Team Domainers

    2nd Day, 10th October Schedule:

    • Match 1: Team Marketers vs Team Domainers
    • Match 2: Team Entrepreneur vs Team Rankers
    • Match 3: Team Programmtic vs Team Bloggers
    • Match 4: Team Affiliates vs Team Startups

    3rd Day, 11th October Schedule:

    • Match 1: Team Programmtic vs Team Marketers
    • Match 2: Team Affiliates vs Team Entrepreneur
    • Match 3: Team Domainers vs Team Bloggers
    • Match 4: Team Rankers vs Team Startups

    4th Day, 12th October Schedule:

    • Match 1: 1st Semi-final A1 vs B2
    • Match 2: 2nd Semi-final A2 vs B1
    • Match 3: Final W1 vs W2

    1st Semifinal is going to be played between the table topper of Group A and the second placed team in Group B. The winner of this match will qualify to the finals as W1. The 2nd Semifinal is going to be played between the table toppers of Group B and the second placed in Group A. The winner of this match will qualify to finals as W2.

    iFest 2023 Prize Money

    The prize distribution for the event is as follows:

    1. First Place (Winner) – INR 100,000
    2. Second Place (Runner-up) – INR 50,000
    3. Man of the Match (Each) – INR 2,000 (Total INR 15,000)
    4. Man of the Series – INR 10,000
