The 16th iteration of the Asia Cup is set to occur from August 30 to September 17, co-hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Originally planned for 2021, the tournament was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This edition of the Asia Cup will mark the first multi-country event of its kind.
Out of the thirteen total matches, four will be held in Pakistan, while the other nine will be in Sri Lanka. The inaugural match will feature Pakistan against Nepal on August 30 at Multan Cricket Stadium.
The highly anticipated match between arch-rivals India and Pakistan is scheduled for September 2 in Kandy. The group also includes newcomer Nepal alongside India and Pakistan.
