The upcoming edition of the men’s Emerging Asia Cup is scheduled to take place in Sri Lanka from July 13 to July 23. The tournament will involve eight teams from Asia, with seven of them representing the ‘A’ teams of their respective countries.

Last month, the women’s edition of the same tournament took place, and India A women emerged as the champions by defeating Bangladesh A women by a margin of 31 runs in the final. The women’s tournament was played in the T20 format, whereas the upcoming men’s event will be held in the 50-over format.

India secured victory in the Men’s Emerging Asia Cup on one occasion, specifically in 2013. Sri Lanka emerged as champions twice, while Pakistan also clinched the title once in previous editions of the tournament.
