Here are the top five players to watch out for during India vs Pakistan match:

1) Virat Kohli

Despite a disappointing outing against Pakistan in the rain-interrupted Asia Cup 2023 encounter, where he was dismissed for just 4, Virat Kohli remains a formidable force. With a stellar track record against arch-rivals Pakistan, Kohli is determined to make his mark in the upcoming clash.

2) Babar Azam

Babar Azam’s brilliance was on full display in the tournament opener against Nepal, where he played a breathtaking innings of 151 runs. Although rain prevented him from batting against India, Babar Azam still has ample opportunities to showcase his world-class batting skills throughout the tournament and he will definitely look to score big against India.

3) Shaheen Shah Afridi

Shaheen Shah Afridi has asserted himself as the leading wicket-taker in the tournament with six scalps in just two matches. His spellbinding performance, including a remarkable 4/35 against Pakistan, where he dismissed the likes of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, underscores his versatility with both the new and old ball. He will look to replicate what he did against India at the group stage.

4) Ishan Kishan

Ishan Kishan made a resounding statement with his remarkable knock of 82 runs while batting at the fifth position against Pakistan in the Asia Cup. This left-handed dynamo has cemented his place in the middle order, making a strong case for inclusion in the World Cup starting XI, especially after his standout performance against the bitter rivals.

5) Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya’s true prowess as an all-rounder shone despite the interference of rain. With a gritty 87-run innings against Pakistan and a commendable spell of 1/34 against Nepal, Pandya has emerged as one of the standout performers of the Asia Cup 2023.
