Australia has revealed their 18-player squad for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in India, with uncapped leg-spinner Tanveer Sangha and all-rounder Aaron Hardie being the surprise inclusions. Interestingly, Test star Marnus Labuschagne has been left out.
Captain Pat Cummins is recovering from a fractured wrist, but the selectors see the enforced rest as beneficial before the tournament. The team will get ready with a series against South Africa, providing chances for Tanveer and Hardie to impress. The squad is confident in their balanced composition and aims to secure their sixth World Cup title.
