Sri Lanka Cricket Board has announced that effective immediately from 7th November 2022, the Sri Lankan cricketer Danushka Gunathilaka is suspended from all forms of cricket, whether international or domestic. This has happened because Danushka Gunathilaka was arrested on Sunday on accusations of rape in Sydney. The serious crime accusations led the Sri Lankan Cricket Board to conduct an emergency meeting in which it was decided that the left-handed batter Danushka Gunathialaka would not be considered for any teams whatsoever in future until a definite answer to his crime comes forward.
