Mohammad Babar Azam, born on October 15, 1994, is a prominent Pakistani international cricketer. He not only plays for the Pakistan national cricket team but also captains it in all formats. Azam is widely recognized as one of the finest contemporary batters in world cricket, particularly excelling in white-ball formats. Remarkably, he holds a unique position as the only cricketer ranked in the top 5 across all formats. Currently, he is the number one ranked batter in ODIs, third in T20Is, and fourth in Tests.

Azam, a right-handed top-order batter, takes on leadership roles in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) as the captain of Peshawar Zalmi and in Pakistan’s domestic cricket as the leader of Central Punjab. Notably, he shares the record for being the joint most successful T20I captain of all time, with 42 victories to his name.
