The Royal Challengers Bangalore won their last game against Rajasthan Royals in a close encounter. Batting first, RCB set a big target of 190 runs on the back of blistering knocks of 62 and 77 runs from Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell respectively. While Chasing, Devdutt Padikkal and Yashasvi Jaiswal played brilliant innings of 52 and 47 runs respectively to come close to the target, but unfortunately, lost the match by 7 runs.
However, during the match Mohammed Siraj was seen fuming and exchanging some angry words with Mahipal Lomror. But after the match, Siraj apologized to Lomror in a unique manner and also stated that what happened on the field stays there.
“I am so angry man. Kya naam hain (What’s his name) Mahipal, I’m so sorry. I have apologised twice already. I don’t carry the aggression off the field. It’s all calm down post-match,” said Siraj in the video on RCB’s social media account before huming to popular track ‘Baby Calm Down.’
‘It’s all-right Siraj Bhai’ Lomror replied.
Siraj was once again at his best during RCB’s seven-run win over the Rajasthan Royals (RR). Siraj dismissed Jos Buttler for a duck in the first over of RR’s innings to help his side defend a total of 189.
RCB will next face the Kolkata Knight Riders on Wednesday (April 26) at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
