Ben Matthew Duckett, commonly known as Ben Duckett, was born on 17 October 1994, making him 29 years old. Standing at a height of 5 feet 8 inches (177 cm) and weighing 70 kg (154 lbs), he hails from Farnborough, Orpington, United Kingdom. As a male English cricketer, Duckett received his education at Stowe School. Under the zodiac sign Libra, he is recognized for his skills in the cricketing arena. Born to parents Graham Duckett and Jayne Duckett, Ben Duckett has made a name for himself in the realm of English cricket.

Ben Duckett earned his spot in the squad for the Test and ODI matches during the tour of Bangladesh. Making his England debut in the first ODI against Bangladesh, he contributed 60 runs as England chased down 309 to win by 21 runs. Although he faced a duck in the second game, England lost. Duckett returned to form in the final game, scoring 63 and helping England win the series 2–1.

Following his impressive ODI performances, Duckett made his Test debut against Bangladesh, scoring 14 and 15 in the first and second innings, respectively, as England won by 22 runs. In the second Test, he made seven in the first innings and secured his maiden Test half-century with 56 in the second innings, despite England losing by 108 runs.

During the 2016 India tour, Duckett was selected but faced challenges, leading to his exclusion after the second Test due to a relatively poor series.

In the 2017–18 Ashes tour, Duckett faced deselection following an incident in a Perth bar, where he allegedly poured a drink over teammate James Anderson. Consequently, he was suspended from playing the final three England Lions games of the tour, fined, and dropped for the 2018 England Lions tour of the West Indies.

In April 2019, Duckett joined England’s T20I squad for a one-off match against Pakistan, making his debut on 5 May 2019.

In 2020, Duckett was named in a 55-man group for training ahead of international fixtures in England post the COVID-19 pandemic. Subsequently, he was included in England’s 24-man squad for closed-door training for the ODI series against Ireland.

In 2022, Duckett joined the England side on a tour of Pakistan and played a pivotal role in the Bazball style of cricket, scoring the fastest-ever England century opening stand and contributing to the fastest double-century partnership in Test cricket history with Zak Crawley. Duckett retained his place in the side for the rest of the series.
