The much-anticipated 10th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is set to kick off on January 19, 2024, with the grand finale scheduled for March 1. Organized by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), BPL 2024 promises an exhilarating display of T20 cricket, featuring top-notch teams and players from around the globe. The tournament is structured around seven teams, namely Chattogram Challengers, Comilla Victorians, Durdanto Dhaka, Fortune Barisal, Khulna Tigers, Sylhet Strikers, and Rangpur Riders. With a total of 46 matches scheduled to be played across three different venues, the competition is expected to be fierce, showcasing the T20 talent from Bangladesh and international stars.
The top 4 teams after the league stages will qualify for the Playoffs. The 3rd and 4th placed teams will face off in the Eliminator match to be played on the 25th of February. The top 2 placed teams will lock horns in the first Qualifier to be played on the 25th of February. The winner of the Eliminator and loser of the first Qualifier will then face each other in the second Qualifier with an eye on the Finals spot.
