Jasprit Bumrah has been out of action for nearly five months now, and he is likely to stay out for the next 4-5 months, missing both IPL 2023 and the World Test Championship (WTC) Final.

A report suggests that Team India is now hoping that Bumrah gets fit before the ODI World Cup, if not play the Asia Cup.

Earlier it was expected that Bumrah would return in the IPL which gave fans a bit of hope of an appearance in the World Test Championship (WTC) final. However, now it seems that he will miss both the events, making the fans frustrated. The report of Bumrah’s delayed return sparked mixed reaction on social media.

Bumrah last played for India in a T20I match against Australia in September at home. Not only did he missed the T20 World Cup, the injury had ruled him out of the away series in New Zealand and Bangladesh and home fixtures against Sri Lanka and Australia.
