The Super Giants achieved 193/6 while batting first, with debutants Kyle Mayers and Nicholas Pooran excelling with the bat. After that, Mark Wood, a second LSG debutant, delivered the game-winning over, picking up five wickets for 14 runs, and Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi each picked up two wickets to keep the Capitals to just 143.
