On Tuesday (April 4) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, the Delhi Capitals (DC) will face the Gujarat Titans (GT) in the seventh game of the Indian Premier League 2023. The Caps lost their first game against the Lucknow Super Giants after failing to meet the 194-run goal. If the Caps had been more attentive on the field, the target may have been considerably smaller. The bowlers too had a bad day, conceding runs at an economy rate of more than 7.5. They only gave up 30 runs on the powerplay but couldn’t keep the pressure on after that. This game will include Anrich Nortje and Lungi Ngidi, and it will be intriguing to watch how they do.
The Titans defeated the Chennai Super Kings by five wickets after chasing down a 179-run goal in the last over of the game. Shubman Gill had a fantastic batting performance, scoring 63 runs off 36 deliveries. Rashid Khan shone with the ball for the Titans, taking two wickets for 26 runs in four overs and was named Player of the Match. Kane Williamson suffered a knee injury in the opening game and will not be able to compete in the tournament. David Miller is eligible for selection in this game and might replace Williamson in the starting lineup. Other from that, the Titans will make little changes to the team.
