Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni is known to be one of the calmest cricketers in World Cricket. Nicknamed ‘Captain Cool’, Dhoni is not inclined towards showing emotions, regardless of wins and losses. However, there have been times when even a person like Dhoni lost his anger. Though such incidents are hard to remember as there are only a few of them, former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh has revealed an incident which many of you may not know. Harbhajan Singh, who has played under Dhoni for both India and CSK, has made a big revelation about the time when MS Dhoni grew so angry he threw his bat in frustration.

While doing commentary, Harbhajan was asked by a fan to mention an incident where Dhoni got angry in the dressing room. While Harbhajan mentioned CSK’s game against Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2019 when an angry Dhoni walked towards the field to protest against a no-ball not being called, Harbhajan also revealed a training session incident.

“We were playing in Jharkhand. We were playing some game in a warm-up session. We had formed our own teams and Dhoni’s team was lagging behind. He came at the last and he threw his bat so badly the handle broke,” Harbhajan told Sanjay Manjrekar.

Dhoni has been a legendary captain. Under his captaincy, India won the T20 World Cup in 2007, the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2011, and the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013, and CSK won 4 IPL titles.
