As the Knight Riders aim to end their decade-long title drought in the forthcoming edition of the lucrative league, they enter the 17th edition scheduled in Dubai on Tuesday, December 19. Currently the third-most successful franchise in IPL history, trailing only Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK), KKR secured titles in 2012 and 2014.
Armed with a 13-member squad and a remaining purse of ₹32.70 crore, KKR heads into the auction with the potential to acquire up to 12 players, including four from overseas. This presents a strategic opportunity for the team to strengthen its lineup and bolster its chances of clinching another IPL title.
