His outstanding performance earned him the title of First-class Cricketer of the Season at Cricket South Africa’s annual awards in May 2017. Additionally, he was named in Jo’burg Giants’ squad for the inaugural T20 Global League in August 2017, which unfortunately got postponed and later canceled.
Further showcasing his talent, Olivier joined Jozi Stars’ squad for the debut edition of the Mzansi Super League T20 tournament in October 2018, and later topped the wicket-taking charts for Knights in the 2018–19 CSA 4-Day Franchise Series.
