ENG vs SL, Stadium Name Pitch Report & Weather Conditions

The conditions at the SCG will definitely not be your usual belter of a wicket. The game will be played on used surfaces and the pitch will certainly be on the slow side with and not much bounce in it. England will have to be wary of the spin duo the Lankan possess and Sri Lanka will certainly find it hard to break the shackles with slower ones into the wicket.

The temperature is expected to be around 21°C with the sun beaming down and forecast has predicted no rain.

    INJURY UPDATE

No injury updates from either of the squad.

ENG vs SL: Dream 11 Top Picks

Jos Buttler: The England skipper finally found some form in their previous encounter and stepped up when most required, showing exactly why you never discount greatness. A victory here will take them into the semis and their arch rivals out of the tournament and Buttler will fancy the Sri Lankan bowling attack, especially after his memorable century in the previous edition of the tournament, an innings where he displayed his wide array of shots.

Wanindu Hasaranga: The wily spinner will certainly fancy his chances on a slow and two paced SCG wicket. The bounce on the pitch is also inconsistent and his new Kedhar Jadhavesque release will certainly make the batters think. With the England batting line-up being heavily right loaded, Hasaranga will be a key bowler for the Lankans.
