England Women vs South Africa Women Semi-Final 2 Match Preview:

On February 24 in Cape Town’s Newlands, England Women (ENG-W) and South Africa Women (SA-W) will square off in the second semifinal game of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2023. England finished first in group 2 after winning all four of their games. Their best performance came when they held on to 151 runs against India. They defeated Pakistan in their final game with a record-breaking score of 213/5, setting a new mark for the T20 World Cup.

After losing to Sri Lanka in the first match, the tournament hosts, South Africa, nonetheless advanced to the semifinals. However, they defeated Bangladesh by 10 wickets in their final match to advance to the semifinals on the basis of a higher net run rate. They also lost to the Group 1 champions Australia. South Africa, despite playing at home, is the second favourite to win this game despite having lost four of their previous five Twenty20 internationals to England.
