Shreyas Iyer: Team India star batsman and Kolkata Knight Riders captain Shreyas Iyer has successfully undergone back surgery in the UK. Now due to recovery, Iyer will be forced to miss the entire IPL 2023 as well as the World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia at the Oval in London in June.

Expected Record Time of Shreyas Iyer After Surgery:

Shreyas Iyer will take 3-4 months to return to competitive cricket after surgery. Hence, he has a high probability of featuring in Cricket World Cup 2023 provided he is in form.

Jasprit Bumrah: Just like Shreyas Iyer, Jasprit Bumrah is also recovering from a back injury. Bumrah recently underwent a surgery in New Zealand, and will miss the World Test Championship final 2023 in June.

Rishabh Pant: Rishabh Pant met with a dangerous car accident just a few months back. The left-hand batsman received several injuries on his body. Pant has successfully undergone PCL and MCL surgery under Dr Pardiwala’s guidance, and is currently doing recovery.

Expected Record Time of Rishabh Pant After Surgery:

Rishabh Pant will take 9-12 months to return to competitive cricket after surgery. He is likely to miss Cricket World Cup 2023 which will be played in India.
