In the third match of the Bangladesh Premier League 2024 at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka, Fortune Bairshal (FBA) is set to face off against Rangpur Riders (RAN) on Saturday, January 20.
Despite Fortune Barishal reaching the playoffs last season, they faced elimination with a four-wicket loss to Rangpur Riders. Tamim Iqbal will lead the team, while Shakib Al Hasan has moved to Rangpur Raiders. Barisal will be without Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Amir, and Abbas Afridi for this game.
Contrastingly, Rangpur Riders secured the third rank in the league phase with eight wins and four losses in 12 matches. Their title aspirations were dashed after a 19-run loss to Sylhet Strikers in the second qualifier. Nurul Hasan continues to lead the side in this edition.
