CSK fans were in for a treat when the franchise shared a video of Ajinkya Rahane on their official Instagram handle. In the video, Rahane can be seen revealing his favourite song – “Kandho Se Kandhe Milte Hain”, a beautiful melody that perfectly matches his vibrant personality. The caption posted by CSK for Rahane read, “The man is as vibrant as the song itself 🎼 #WhistlePodu #Yellove”.

The Chennai Super Kings franchise acquired the services of Ajinkya Rahane for INR 50 Lac in the IPL Mini Auction 2023. Rahane has played 158 matches to date in his IPL career and has scored 4074 runs, with an average of 30.86. He has also slammed two centuries and 28 half-centuries, with his highest IPL score being 105 not out.

Interestingly, this is not the first time Rahane will play under the leadership of MS Dhoni in the IPL. Both of them shared the dressing room while playing for Rising Pune Supergiants in the 2016 and 2017 editions, when both CSK and RR were banned for two years from the tournament. In those editions, Rahane was brilliant with his bat, scoring 382 runs in 16 matches in 2017 and 480 runs in 14 matches in 2016.
The video featuring Rahane has been loved by all CSK fans, and they can’t wait for the opening match of IPL 2023 between Gujarat Titans led by Hardik Pandya and Chennai Super Kings led by MS Dhoni. With Rahane in the squad, CSK will undoubtedly look to dominate the upcoming season and make a strong comeback after a disappointing 2022 campaign in which they finished ninth in the standings.
