Haris Rauf, born 7 November 1993 is a Pakistani cricketer who first represented the Pakistan cricket team in January 2020. His Twenty20 debut took place while playing for the Lahore Qalandars in the 2018 Abu Dhabi T20 Trophy on 5 October 2018. Later, in November 2018, he was selected by the Lahore Qalandars in the players’ draft for the 2019 Pakistan Super League tournament. His Test debut occurred against England in December 2022.

Haris Rauf, born on 7 November 1993 in Rawalpindi, Punjab, hails from a working-class family originally from Sharkool village in the Mansehra, Hazara region. His father, Rauf Ahmed, earned a living as a welder employed by the Public Works Department. Growing up near the Diamond Cricket Club in Islamabad, he had proximity to cricket but never formally joined the club.
Haris attended the Islamabad Model College for Boys I-8/3, where he initially leaned towards football rather than cricket. He contributed to his school’s football victory, earning recognition as the tournament’s best player. Subsequently, he pursued further education in an IT program at the International Islamic University, Islamabad. Before committing himself entirely to cricket, he worked in a mobile shop and supplemented his income by playing tape-ball cricket, affiliating with teams that provided compensation.

On 23 December 2022, Rauf entered into a traditional nikkah marriage ceremony with his college classmate, Muzna Masood Malik, in Islamabad.
