Chennai Super Kings has confirmed the participation of MS Dhoni in the upcoming edition of IPL in 2024 by retaining him before the auction. The leader of the yellow army will again get ready for his last hurrah in the IPL.
MS Dhoni said in the post-match presentation of the IPL 2023 Final that he will look to play another IPL edition in order to repay the love that the fans had showered on him during the IPL 2023.
He recently underwent knee surgery and is expected to recover before the next season commences. This time, the final is going to be played in Chennai, and MS Dhoni will definitely look to retire with a victory at his home ground in IPL.

IPL 2024 retentions and releases have been made official, and the auction is going to be held on 19th December 2023 in Dubai. BCCI has confirmed that the IPL is going to take place in India despite the Lok Sabha elections.
