ICC ODI World Cup 2023 is scheduled to be played from 5th October 2023 in India. The tournament is going to be played across ten venues in India and will see every team facing each other during the group stage. India will start its journey in the World Cup 2023 with a match against Australia on 8th October 2023 at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai.

The blockbuster India vs Pakistan clash is scheduled to be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The squad for the tournament is expected to be announced soon. India is trying various combinations in their playing 11 in the remaining series before the World Cup 2023. While the inclusion of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Shubman Gill and a few others is completely sure, there are a few spots in the team which are still being debated on.

Shreyas Iyer is recovering from a back injury, and there is a chance of him missing out on the Asia Cup 2023. However, Team India has failed to find a perfect replacement for him. Suryakumar Uadav was provided with the opportunity to bat at four, but he failed to grab it. Sanju Samson is doing decent with the bat, but Team India is expected to go with KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan in the ODI World Cup 2023.
