The anticipation for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 schedule has been mounting since it was expected to be released after the World Test Championship final in London, but the announcement has not been made yet.
According to the latest report, it is likely that the schedule will be announced sometime this week, although the exact date is unknown. The reasons for the delay in the announcement after the WTC final are also unclear.
Based on the draft presented by the BCCI to the ICC, the prestigious tournament is expected to commence on October 15, with an exciting match between India and Pakistan scheduled for the same day in Ahmedabad.
According to reports, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is reportedly dissatisfied with the schedule of the ICC World Cup 2023, specifically regarding their match against India at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The PCB raised this concern during the visit of ICC CEO Geoff Allardice and chairman Greg Barclay to Lahore last month. The upcoming ICC World Cup will feature 10 teams, similar to the previous edition, and teams had to earn their spots through various qualification routes, including the 2020-2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League tournament.
Currently, the ODI World Cup qualifiers are underway, with teams competing for a chance to secure a spot in the main tournament in India.
