The ODI World Cup 2023 schedule was revealed by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday. The tournament will kick off on October 5 in Ahmedabad, where defending champions England will face New Zealand in the opening match.

The Narendra Modi Stadium, with a seating capacity of 1,32,000, will host five matches, including the highly anticipated encounter between arch-rivals India and Pakistan on October 15.

Over the course of 46 days, the tournament will take place in 10 cities. Apart from Ahmedabad, the other host cities are Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Dharamsala, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Pune.

Out of all the venues, the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad will have a slightly different schedule, hosting three league matches. Pakistan will play two matches at this venue, while New Zealand will play one match there.
