    The ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 is all set for Match 21 between India and New Zealand, which will take place on Sunday, October 22 at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala. India is led by Rohit Sharma, while New Zealand is captained by Kane Williamson.

    As of now, 116 ODI matches have been played between India and New Zealand, in which India has won 50 matches while New Zealand has won 50 matches. The India team is currently ranked first, while the New Zealand team is ranked fifth in the ICC ODI rankings.

With 265 runs in four matches at an impressive average of 66.25 and a strike rate exceeding 137, he has been in remarkable form. Following a lackluster performance against Australia, Sharma roared back with a stunning 131 against Afghanistan and an instrumental 86 against arch-rivals Pakistan.

    2) Matt Henry

    Matt Henry has emerged as a key performer for New Zealand, amassing nine wickets at a remarkable average of 18 in just four matches. The right-arm pacer’s standout performance was his 3/40, which significantly contributed to his team’s victory over the Netherlands.

    3) Jasprit Bumrah

    Jasprit Bumrah, India’s pace spearhead, has been a linchpin in their World Cup campaign. The right-arm pacer has made critical breakthroughs in all four matches, accumulating 10 wickets at an impressive average of 13.40. His contribution is vital to India’s success in the tournament.

    4) Mitchell Santner

    Mitchell Santner, the Kiwi spinner, has thrived in the Indian conditions during this World Cup. He leads the competition as the top wicket-taker, having claimed 11 wickets in four matches. Santner’s consistent performances have made him a standout performer in the tournament.

    5) Shubman Gill

    Shubman Gill, representing India, made a strong comeback after missing the first two matches due to illness. Despite a modest 16-run outing against Pakistan, Gill returned to form with a stylish 53 off 55 balls against Bangladesh. His role as an opening batter is crucial to India’s hopes of posting a substantial total against New Zealand.
