Imam-ul-Haq Scandal 2019
A woman has made allegations against Pakistani opener Imam-ul-Haq, claiming that he has been involved with around seven to eight women, with chat records from nearly four of them becoming public. These incidents reportedly occurred over the past six months, including during the World Cup campaign.
In the leaked chats, Imam addresses one of the women as “baby” and shares his current location. In other chat logs, Imam is seen engaged in disputes with women, where they accuse him of manipulating and using other women he had dated previously. In response, Imam tweeted that he possesses numerous pictures and videos that can vindicate him, offering to share them if the concerned women agree.
While screenshots of the fourth woman’s chat haven’t been located, she reportedly contacted one of the other three women on Instagram to disclose Imam’s alleged infidelity, and these chat pictures were also made public. Despite Imam’s cricketing prowess, this controversy could lead to significant troubles for him.
It remains to be seen if the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) decides to take any substantial actions in response to this situation. However, potential repercussions from the board could pose challenges for the cricketer in the near future.
