Rohit took charge right from the first ball, attacking the bowlers with a flurry of boundaries. He showed why he’s one of the best batter in the world, leaving the visitors struggling to find a way to break the partnership. The Indian opener’s timing and placement were spot on, and he continued to pile on the runs, taking India to a position of strength.

Virat, on the other hand, was his usual aggressive self, scoring 12 runs off just 20 deliveries. He hit a couple of boundaries and was looking in good touch, much to the delight of the Indian fans. With both the batters in the middle, India’s lead looked set to increase and the visitors were in for a long day in the field.

Rohit Sharma, who already has several match-winning innings to his name, was in the zone and showed no signs of slowing down. The Indian skipper has been in top form, having already scored a century in the previous match. His ability to bat through the innings and maintain his composure under pressure makes him a key player for the Indian team.

With Virat Kohli also looking in good touch, the visitors were in for a tough time in the middle. The Indian middle-order batters have been in top form, and if Rohit and Virat continue their impressive display, India’s lead could get even bigger.

So far the Day 2 has been a fantastic display of batting by the Indian team, and it looks like the visitors are in for a long day in the field. With the two best batters in the world in the middle, India’s lead looks set to increase and the visitors will have a tough time trying to bounce back.
