    IND vs AUS 1st Test: KS Bharat to Debut as Wicketkeeper; KL Rahul to Play as Pure Batter, Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid Makes Shocking Decision of Leaving Shubman Gill Out of the Playing XI- Reports.

    India and Australia are going to play the 1st Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy at VCA Stadium in Nagpur from 9th February 2023. A few shocking reports have emerged before the 1st Test.

    According to the latest reports, Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid are going to make these shocking decisions:

    • Picking KS Bharat as the wicketkeeper batter in the Indian playing XI for the 1st Test against Australia.
    • KL Rahul will play as a pure batter, which means Shubman Gill is not going to be part of the playing XI.
    • Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul have asked for proper cricketing wickets as the Indian team is also vulnerable against the spin.

    The latest reports suggest that the Indian cricket team management is keen to play KS Bharat ahead of Ishan Kishan in the Indian playing XI for the 1st Test. This means that KS Bharat will finally debut for India in Tests after warming the bench for more than 1.5 years.

    Rishabh Pant’s injury has become a headache for the Indian cricket team as the middle order now lacks a counter-attacking spark.
