    Team India extended their lead on Day 3 of the 1st Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy and finally ended their innings on 400/10 in 139.3 overs.

    Batting first, Australia scored 177 runs in 63.5 overs and Team India now has a lead of 223 runs.

    Thanks to Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, and Axar Patel, Team India has been able to score 400 runs on a pitch which was considered to be a ‘DEMON’ before the start of the match.

    Here are the highest scores for India in the 2nd innings:

    Rohit Sharma: 120(212)

    Axar Patel: 84(174)

    Ravindra Jadeja: 70(185)

    Since 2010, Team India never had the need to bat in the 4th innings whenever they took 200+ lead in the 2nd innings.
