India vs Australia 4th Test is scheduled to be played at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad from 9th March 2023. Currently, the Test Series is at 2-1 with India leading way. This will be the last match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023. The 4th Test has become crucial as India needs to win the game to completely seal a spot in the World Test Championship Final 2023.
There are many noises around the fourth Test match and one such noise is from Ravi Shastri, the former Indian coach. He recently said that India became overconfident after winning the first two Test matches and ended up losing the third Test. He criticised the Indian team management for not being proactive with the demands of the ongoing Test series.
Rohit Sharma was asked about the comment that Ravi Shastri made. In the press conference before the 4th Test match he said that all this about the Indian team being overconfident is completely rubbish. He further added that we are looking to win every match of the Test series and the things just did not work in our favour in the third Test.
India lost the 3rd Test match at Indore which has been rated poor by ICC. It is expected that the pitch in 4th Test is going to offer an even contest between the bat and ball.
