India is ready to face England in the semi-finals. Both teams will meet once again in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2024. The Indian team has been unbeaten so far in the tournament. On the other hand, England faced defeats in one match each in the group stage and Super-8 stage. Rohit Sharma’s team secured their place in the semi-finals by defeating Australia by 24 runs, while England defeated USA by 10 wickets.

The second semi-final match, according to Indian time, will be played at 8:00 PM in Guyana’s Providence Stadium. In this match, India will aim to take revenge for their previous loss against England. In the T20 World Cup 2022, the English team knocked India out of the final race by defeating them in the semi-finals with 10 wickets. Now, under Rohit Sharma’s leadership, India will look to learn from past mistakes and defeat England this time around.

IND vs ENG: Providence Stadium Pitch Report

The match will be played at Providence Stadium in Guyana, known for its low-scoring nature and being conducive to spinners. It tends to assist spinners more than fast bowlers, making it challenging for batsmen to score runs freely.

    IND vs ENG: Weather Forecast

There is a shadow of rain looming over the India vs England match. According to the weather report, there is a 70% chance of rain in Guyana in the morning. The temperature is expected to be around 31 degrees Celsius. There is also a possibility of thunderstorms and strong winds on the day of the match. Consequently, this match could be affected by rain.

If the second semi-final match of the T20 World Cup 2024 between India and England is washed out due to rain, it would benefit the Indian team. India has won all their matches in the group stage and Super-8 stage, securing victories in all three Super-8 matches. They have six points to their credit, while England has four points. Based on this, India would comfortably qualify for the final.
