15 Matches Between 8 Teams in Champions Trophy 2025
The 2025 ICC Champions Trophy will feature 8 teams and a total of 15 matches. These teams will be divided into two groups. India and Pakistan are in Group A, along with New Zealand and Bangladesh. Group B will consist of South Africa, Australia, Afghanistan, and England.
Each team will play 3 matches in their respective group, and the top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals. The first semi-final will take place in Dubai, while the second will be held in Lahore. If any team reaches the final, they will have played a total of 5 matches in the tournament.
The 15 matches will be held across 4 venues, with 3 of them in Pakistan and one in Dubai. India will play all its matches in Dubai. If India qualifies, the final will also be held in Dubai. Otherwise, the final will take place in Lahore on March 9.
There is also a reserve day for both the semi-finals and the final. The first semi-final will be played in Dubai, and the second will be in Lahore. In total, 10 matches, including one semi-final, will be played in Pakistan, with venues in Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi.
