Mitchell Marsh has blasted consecutive half centuries in the first two ODIs of the ongoing India vs Australia Series. He remained unbeaten in the second ODI and guided his team to victory in just 11 overs. In the first ODI, he was the only batter who scored freely and registered a half century. Marsh is at the peak of his form and can turn out to be the permanent opener for Australia in ODIs.

Mitchell Marsh usually plays in the middle order for Australia but an injury to David Warner before the series presented him with the opportunity to bat at the opening spot with Travis Head. He made full use of that opportunity and showcased his class at the top.
