India is all set to play a Test Series, ODI Series and T20I Series against West Indies in July and August. The teams for Test and ODI series have been announced and Sanju Samson has found the place in India’s ODI squad. He was included in the squad due to an injury to KL Rahul.
However, even though Samson has found a chance to get in the squad of India; his participation in the playing 11 seems unlikely. Despite having a fantastic record in the 11 ODIs that he has played Samson is expected to be snubbed for the left-hander Ishan Kishan.
This ODI series could be the last chance for Sanju Samson to prove his worth before the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 but it seems that the Indian management is keen to go with Ishan Kishan in the playing 11.
