India has a strong record against the West Indies in T20Is, with 17 wins and 9 losses out of 27 matches played. They have also won 6 out of 8 bilateral series against them. Additionally, India has won the last five T20I series against the West Indies.

India has secured victories in 8 matches while playing at home, 4 matches in West Indies, and 5 matches at a neutral venue. On the other hand, the West Indies has won 5 matches at home, 2 in India, and 2 at a neutral venue.

India’s cricket team, also known as the Men in Blue, had a successful start to their tour of the West Indies, winning the Test series 1-0 and the ODI series 2-1. The final part of the tour will feature a five-match T20I series, with the first three matches taking place in the West Indies and the last two matches being hosted in the United States. The format of the T20I series in 2023 remains the same as it was in the previous year.

During the T20I series in 2022, which took place from July 29 to August 7, India emerged victorious in four out of five matches against the West Indies. However, it’s worth noting that the West Indies had won the first-ever T20 match between the two teams on June 12, 2009, at Lord’s Cricket Ground, London. Two years later, on June 4, 2011, India registered their first T20 victory against the West Indies at the Port of Spain Stadium in Trinidad and Tobago.
