Indian team stuck in Barbados due to storm, it may take time to return home

After winning the T20 World Cup, the Indian team was to leave for home from Barbados today, but due to the warning of a very dangerous category storm there, now the return plan is bound to change.

The Indian team won a spectacular victory in the final match of the T20 World Cup 2024 held on 29 June at the Barbados ground. At the same time, now Team India is facing difficulty in returning home due to bad weather in Barbados. Bad weather has been seen in Barbados for a long time, while now the government there has issued a warning of a very dangerous category storm. Due to this, the BCCI has also had to change the plan of the team’s return home and is considering other options.

The day after the final match of the T20 World Cup 2024, i.e. on June 30, a reserve day was kept, after which the Indian team had to fly from there on Monday. Earlier, Team India would fly directly from the US to the UAE and then leave for Mumbai from there. At the same time, after the storm warning was issued, Team India will have to stay in Bridgetown for one more day. The BCCI is now considering making alternative plans. The BCCI is now arranging a charter plane from the US to return directly to India, in which, according to reports, Team India can come directly to Delhi.
