IPL 2022, CSK VS GT: Predicted Playing XIs, Fantasy XI, Predicted Winner

CSK vs GT, the 62nd match of Tata IPL 2022, is scheduled to be played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai from 3:30 PM IST on 15 May 2022.

Team Updates:

Gujarat Titans have become the first team to qualify for the playoffs while Chennai Super Kings have become the 2nd team after Mumbai Indians to be eliminated from the race for the playoffs. The newly born franchise led by Hardik Pandya and mentored by Ashish Nehra has trumped all the predictions before the tournament to stay as the leader in the points table.

On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings looked like a solid team on paper, but they have lacked in all departments throughout the tournament. Deepak Chahar’s absence was a big blow from which they never recovered. Ravindra Jadeja being appointed as captain was also a rash move that negatively affected them.

Gujarat has already defeated CSK once with David Miller and Rashid Khan’s heroics. Both teams have nothing to lose in this game so expect this to be a firecracker. Free from the pressure, the players might show their true potential in this game which holds no significance in terms of outcome.

Predicted Playing XIs:

CSK: Ruturaj Gaikwad, Devon Conway, Robin Uthappa, Moeen Ali, Ambati Rayudu, Shivam Dube, MS Dhoni, Dwayne Bravo, Simarjeet Singh, Maheesh Theekshana/Prashant Solanki, Mukesh Choudhary

GT: Wriddhiman Saha, Shubman Gill, Matthew Wade, Hardik Pandya, David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Sai Kishore, Alzarri Joseph, Yash Dayal, Mohammed Shami

CSK vs GT Best Fantasy XI:

Wriddhiman Saha, Shubman Gill, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Devon Conway, Ambati Rayudu, Moeen Ali (vc), Hardik Pandya (c), Rashid Khan, Mohammed Shami, Mukesh Choudhary, Dwayne Bravo

Predicted Star Batter:

Hardik Pandya is expected to score the most runs in the game.

Predicted Star Bowler:

Mohammed Shami is the bowler to watch out for.

CSK vs GT Predicted Winner:

Gujarat Titans are the favourites to win the clash.
