IPL 2022, KKR VS LSG: Predicted Playing XIs, Fantasy XI, Predicted Winner

KKR vs LSG, the 53rd game of Tata IPL 2022, is scheduled to be played at MCA Stadium in Pune from 7:30 PM IST on 7th May 2022.

Team Updates:

Kolkata Knight Riders are desperate for the wins to qualify for the playoffs. In contrast, only one win is required by the Lucknow Super Giants to make it to the playoffs. Kolkata is still trying to find the best XI. They can play on the field while Lucknow looks settled with their combinations.

Lucknow Super Giants is one of those teams which have won their games by a collective effort. Barring KL Rahul, none of the Super Giants players has performed extraordinarily well in the tournament. But Super Giants won’t mind that as they are a team that can scrape wins with team effort and cooperation. Lucknow has also uncovered two young prospects, Ayush Badoni and Mohsin Khan, who might represent India someday in the future.

In contrast, Kolkata Knight Riders look like a team devoid of team effort and unity. They have relied on solo performances to pull them through the clutch situations, which has led to their dreary condition in the tournament. KKR needs to fight back as a team to register consecutive victories for lifting the trophy. Captain Shreyas Iyer and coach Brendon McCullum need to sort out their team as soon as possible.
